Norway 2009 – Aurora over Andøya

image can be seen here; in it, the stars of Taurus are at top left and the bright object is the
Moon.It was voted the best landscape picture of Norway in 2008. It was one of a
set of six self-adhesive stamps showing tourist subjects. The word ‘Verden’ on the stamp means that it is intended for postage to the rest of the world,
i.e. letters outside Europe.
