Luna 16
The Luna 16 upper stage leaving the Moon and returning to Earth after having
grabbed a handful of lunar soil. This stamp was also issued in a commemorative
sheet of eight, below, with additional non-postal labels at each end depicting
the launch of Luna 16 and the landing on Earth of the sample capsule under
parachutes.
